I’m officially an auntie!

Well, technically he’s my cousin, but my family dynamic is a little different than most. My cousin grew up with us, and I’ve always considered him more of a brother than a cousin. My son even calls him uncle!

So when my cousin told me he was going to be a Dad you could imagine how happy I was!

I couldn’t wait to take their newborn pictures. I don’t do newborn sessions often but when I do, they are always lifestyle newborn sessions!

What is a lifestyle session?

Well, it’s where I come to your home and take pictures of you and your family in your element!

I typically recommend them for newborn sessions, because I love being able to capture your new family dynamic on your couch, in your bedroom, and in their nursery! Of course, I will get some wrapped poses of the baby, but this is more about capturing the new shape of your sweet family!

Back to me being an auntie though!
