Why did you start your photography business?

I started my photography business because I wanted to build and create something that I could be proud of. Something that I could say that I built from the ground up. I wanted to show my children that there is more out there than just shift work and 9-5 jobs and that if you pour your heart and soul into whatever you want in life, it is achievable.

What keeps you going when business is tough?

My three boys and my husband keep me going when things get tough. I have lots of little eyes looking up to me and I hope they see that you can have a family and be able to spend quality time with them as well as have a job that you absolutely love and are successful at.

What are your goals for the next year?

My goals for the next year are to -cut back my hours at my “real job” and create more of a schedule for my photography business -double my income from 2021 -start saving for a bigger studio space outside of my home

What are you most proud of in your business?

I am most proud of the connections and friendships I’m able to make with new and past clients. I love being able to connect with families and their children. Nothing makes me happier than being able to provide a great experience AND a great product for my clients.
