Brandi has been a rockstar and her images are absolutely stunning, we couldn’t be more proud of her!

Why did you start your photography business?
I started my photography business because I wanted to build and create something that I could be proud of. I’ve always been intrigued by photography but life has always been busy with 4 kids! Once they got older and started having kids of their own, I really had a desire to learn so that I could take photos of my grand babies as they grow! My husband bought me a camera and I got started learning. I hope that one day I’ll be able to quit my 9-5 and be a full time photographer!
What keeps you going when business is tough?
When business gets tough, I always rely on my relationship with Christ to guide me through. It also helps that I have several friends in my corner that I can reach out to when I hit a bump in my plan! I usually try to step away from whatever I’m facing and reevaluate if what I’m stressed over is critical in that moment, then take a deep breath and try again! And if all else fails, there’s nothing a good cup of coffee can’t fix!
What are your goals for the next year?
My goals for the next year include education and growth!! I want to continually learn and grow both sides of photography- the actual camera and editing as well as the business side! I would love to book more weddings! Nothing makes my heart happier than to see Gods plan align through shooting couples who become engaged, then bridals and finishing with a wedding! So booking more full packages would allow me to grow in the wedding industry.
What are you most proud of in your business?
I am proud of a lot of things. I think the biggest thing for me is how much my business has pushed me and allowed me to get out of my comfort zone. It has challenged my anxiety and because of that, I’ve been able to go to workshops and meet people who’ve become friends who share the same photography passion. I would have never done that before. My photography business has made me develop personal growth and success in my career. I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I can look at my before and afters and see the growth, I can feel the growth within me and my calendar shows me the growth! I’m proud of that!
