My future family photography sessions, because of you, I get to live my dream. I am able to do what I love and capture so many special moments. As I sit here writing this, I can’t help but get emotional.

Without a doubt, I say this all of the time. However, I am going to say it again! My goal is to capture your family in the season of life that you are in. I want the moments that I catch to be genuine and fun moments between your family.

I want to see the connection you have between each other and not just the connection you have with my camera.

For this reason, I am going to share two tips that I have never shared anywhere else!

Ashley’s Secret Tip #1: Be in the Moment

Your session should be an adventure not a stressor! Try your hardest to treat it as such! I can always tell the families who go into their shoot with lots of expectations!

I promise, if you go into yours with an open mind and a willingness to just be present with your kids, you will have a phenomenal experience!

Ashley’s Secret Tip #2: Bring Out Your Inner Child

During your session, love on your family, play, giggle, and be silly! If it helps you to open up, you are more than welcome to pretend like I’m not even there! Do things that you would normally do to make your littles laugh and interact with you.

Your moments are unique to you and your family. Kids grow up and that season of life will be over soon enough. So let them play, throw sand, run, and be kids! As they let their imaginations run free, experience their adventures with them!

Sit back and enjoy your time with your family and let me freeze those moments!
